Singham Again Villain Arjun Kapoor: “He is not just a street ruffian…he is a storm of fire, which will shatter you and the pride of your India”…this is what Jackie Shroff said at the beginning of ‘Singham Again’. There are some things that show the terror of the film's villain Zubair Hafeez i.e. Arjun Kapoor. However, as much weight is there in this dialogue, believe me, Arjun Kapoor's equally amazing entry has also been shown. Rohit Shetty has not only released the next film of his cop universe on Diwali, but he has also made a big blast with his army.
Not even 2 minutes have passed since the beginning of the film when the first action scene is seen. The story begins with a thief-police scene between Ajay Devgan and Jackie Shroff, where Omar Hafiz (Jackie Shroff) is caught by Bajirao Singham. This is the same Omar Hafiz, who had threatened Singham in 'Suryavanshi'. The twist in the story is that Arjun Kapoor is the grandson of this Omar Hafiz, who is seen avenging the deaths of his family members. This time the matter is a bit personal for both the villain and the hero. Well, let's keep the focus completely on Arjun Kapoor.
Arjun Kapoor created a lot of terror right from his entry by becoming the devilish smile on his face, walking death and full South style villain Danger Lanka. With a sharp weapon in his hand, he strangles 15 policemen and burns them alive. Shakti Shetty i.e. Deepika Padukone's police station was burnt towards Lanka. Not only this, when Danger Lanka encounters Tiger Shroff playing the character of Laxman, his ashram is also burnt to ashes by Zubair Hafeez. Looking at the story till now, it seems that Rohit Shetty's plan to kill the villain of the film with 5 stars each is going right.
After seeing Arjun Kapoor's acting, you can also call 'Singham Again' as one of the best films of his career. Looking at the fire in the eyes of Arjun aka Zubair Hafeez, it seems that it will be very difficult for Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff to defeat the villain. But the atmosphere and the praise that Arjun seems to be looting right from the beginning by becoming Danger Lanka…in the end it gets lost somewhere.
Arjun Kapoor's entry was as spectacular as his character's ending. Arjun did not do anything special in terms of physical fight. Tiger Shroff was given more action for his cameo. Yes, it is a different matter that there was a severe lack of good dialogues. Well, coming back to focus on Arjun Kapoor, the only thing is that the ending of Zubair Hafeez could have been better. A little more work could have been done on his fight scenes. It is worth thinking that the villain Arjun already has a gun in his hand, but he is simply unable to use it and dies easily at the hands of Ajay Devgan.
