When India Lost 3 Wickets For 6 Runs On Day 1

India had earlier lost 3 wickets for 6 runs in the final 15 minutes of play on Day 1 to go to Stumps on the opening day of the third day at 86/4 in 19 overs. In the previous two Test matches too, India's batting collapse getting bundled out for 46 in the first innings in the series opener in Bengaluru before falling like a pack of cards after the second new ball in the second innings. In Pune, it was no different as India were all out for 156 in the first innings and managed 245 in their second innings after being 96/1 at one point in time.

With India heading for a five-match Test tour of Australia, these are not good signs and the Indian team would have to pull up their socks if they are to reach their third WTC final in a row.
