Apply oil to prevent the dough from drying. Which protects the flour from drying. Apart from this, rub a few drops of oil on the dough and then keep it in a container. This will retain the freshness of the flour and keep it soft.
If you want to store the flour for several days, then keep it in the freezer. For this, divide the dough into small parts and keep it in the freezer. Let it melt to room temperature before using. By doing this the flour can be kept fresh in the freezer for 1-2 weeks.
To prevent flour from spoiling in summer, it is beneficial to add some lemon juice to it. Lemon juice acts as a natural preservative and prevents the flour from spoiling. For this, while kneading the dough, add half a spoon of lemon juice to it.
