Director Lokesh Kanagaraj was spotted in the screening of the Kavin-starrer movie Bloody Beggar. During the event, he was asked in anticipation about the probability of Leo 2 with Thalapathy Vijay. In a clip posted by Thi Cinemas, the director stated, “Only Vijay anna could decide that. If he agrees, I will definitely make it.”

He also addressed the establishment of Viiay’s entry into the politics, “What can I say about that? Just well wishes to Vijay sir” (translated from Tamil)

It is unknown, though, if the actor would carry on with his role in the film universe, as he is reportedly working on his last film.

At the same press conference, the director also stated that Coolie, starring Rajinkanth, is shooting smoothly and that there are just two more schedules remaining before it is finished. Additionally, he explained that the movie’s release date would not be revealed until the filming was finished.

The teaser trailer for the next film, which stars Rajinikanth in the main role, first showed the superstar in an action-packed, high-octane avatar. With Rajinikanth portraying a character with negative aspects, the movie is anticipated to be an action thriller.

Furthermore, rumors indicate that Prabhas and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj will probably work together on a film.
