Bihar News: A shocking case has come to light from the Katihar district of Bihar. Where a 6-year-old girl has been raped by her minor uncle in a village of Azamnagar police station area. After which there has been a stir in the area. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police came into action and arrested the 17-year-old accused boy.
What did the DSP say?
Barsoi Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ajay Kumar said today, i.e. on 31 October, that the 17-year-old boy accused of this incident that happened on Wednesday evening has been arrested. He said that the forensic team is collecting evidence by doing scientific research on the case. At present, the police investigation is going on.
How the incident happened
According to the police, the girl's mother had gone to the market, and when the accused found her alone at home, he took her to a pile of straw behind the house where he allegedly raped the girl. On returning from the market, the mother found the girl in an injured condition, after which the police were informed about the incident.
Gangrape in Maharashtra:
Five people have been arrested for allegedly gangraping a 25-year-old woman in Maharashtra's Amravati district, a police official said on Thursday. The victim told police that the incident occurred when she left her house after a quarrel with her parents on Tuesday, the official said.
He said, "According to the complainant, two youths took her on their two-wheeler. They took her to a secluded place and raped her. Three more people were also involved in this act of gang rape."
