D. Raja, the head of the CPI, called the assault on a Hindu temple in Canada “a serious matter” and said that violence against any community must be denounced.
“What happened in Canada is a serious matter of concern,” CPI leader D Raja told ANI. Violence against any group of individuals needs to be denounced.
He went on to say that the Canadian government is in charge of making sure that all minorities are safe and secure.
“The Canadian government is in charge of ensuring that all minorities are safe and secure. It likewise holds true for all other nations. Minorities must be preserved and protected. Every government is accountable for it. The relationship between Canada and India is already fragile, so this shouldn’t make it any more difficult,” CPI leader Raja told ANI.
Mrutyunjay Tiwari, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), criticized the BJP-led NDA government at the federal level for the assault on a Hindu temple in Canada. He said that the central government’s foreign policy failures were to blame for the situation in other nations.
RJD leader Tiwari told ANI that the central government had to exert pressure and ask why similar circumstances are occurring in other nations. This may be seen as a failure of the foreign policy of the central government. The PM needs to discuss the steps they are taking to address this.
Rafiqul Islam, the party general secretary and MLA for the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), has previously denounced the assault on the Hindu temple in Canada and called on the Canadian government to punish those responsible severely in order to prevent such incidents against places of worship in the future.
Islam, an AIUDF MLA, told ANI, “It is regrettable. We denounce this. As Indians, we urge the Canadian government to prosecute those responsible and enforce the severest penalties in order to prevent such assaults on places of worship in the future. It is illegal for anybody to assault a house of worship.
In order to stop such occurrences from occurring in the future, he encouraged the Central Government to speak with the Canadian government.
“Our government is accountable for it. To ensure that similar incidents don’t occur again, the Indian government needs to speak with the Canadian government or people in their vicinity about all of these issues,” he told ANI.
Sidharth Nath Singh, the head of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), strongly denounced the assault on a Canadian Hindu temple and said that the Justin Trudeau administration was aiding Khalistanis for “vote bank politics.”
Singh told ANI, “I deplore the assault on Hindus and Hindu temples, and the Canadian government is helping Khalistanis because of the vote bank. The Indian government will respond to them appropriately and take the necessary steps.
The BJP criticized the Congress party earlier today for its “silence” on the recent assaults on Hindu temples in Canada, claiming that the party leaders only put vote-bank politics ahead of their beliefs and would rather keep quiet on such significant matters.
Congress and its supporters shout for Gaza, but they have gone “completely silent” for Hindus in Bangladesh and Canada, according to BJP spokesman Shehzad Poonawala.
According to Poonawalla, “You find that the INDI Alliance, especially Priyanka Vadra, Rahul Gandhi and others who cry for Muslims in Gaza, whose alliance tweets and speaks up for Hezbollah and Hamas, have gone completely silent when it comes to Hindus in Canada and Bangladesh.”
It demonstrates how these individuals will compromise their morals in order to get votes. It’s possible that they see the extremist elements who are assaulting Hindus as their primary source of support; therefore, they won’t speak out. They won’t challenge these extremist groups; they will only question the Indian government,” he said.
In Brampton, close to Toronto, there was a “violent disruption” at an Indian consulate camp at the Hindu Sabha Temple on Sunday. The Hindu Canadian community is very concerned about the increase in assaults on Hindu temples.
In reaction, a day after Khalistani extremists stormed the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, Canada, more than a thousand Canadian Hindus gathered outside the temple on Monday evening (local time) to express their disapproval of the ongoing assaults on Hindu temples throughout the nation.
The “deliberate attack” and the “cowardly attempts to intimidate” Indian diplomats were sharply denounced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also said that New Delhi expects Canadian authorities to enforce the rule of law and provide justice.
Hours after the Ministry of External Affairs denounced the violent crimes committed by separatists and extremists at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton, Ontario, PM Modi made his forced remark.
A disturbing pattern of religious intolerance in Canada has been highlighted by a number of similar events that have been reported in recent years.
