The Union Health Ministry has taken major action against Dr. Gopal Krishna Pal, Executive Director of AIIMS Patna. Gopal Krishna Pal has been removed from the post of Executive Director of AIIMS Patna. Actually, the AIIMS Patna director was accused of enrolling his son in PG and at that time he was in the additional charge of the director of AIIMS Gorakhpur. He is also accused of getting his son's enrollment certificate made under the non-creamy layer.

According to the information received, Dr. Saurabh Varshney, Executive Director of AIIMS Deoghar, will remain on this post for the next three months or until the new director of AIIMS Patna is found. After the issue of admission of the son came to light, the Union Health Ministry had also constituted an inquiry committee, which had two members. This committee had also submitted its report to the Government of India. After this, on Tuesday, the Union Health Ministry took major action and removed Dr. Gopal Krishna Pal from his post.

However, Patna AIIMS management is refraining from saying anything on this matter. Let us tell you that when Gopal Krishna Pal was the director of AIIMS Patna, he was also in charge of the director of AIIMS Gorakhpur. Meanwhile, the matter of getting his son Aaro Prakash Pal admitted in Gorakhpur AIIMS by getting a non-creamy layer certificate from Patna came to light. This matter had taken a serious turn. A complaint about this matter was made on September 4, 2024 this year. The admission of Gopal Krishna Pal's daughter in Patna AIIMS has also been in controversy.
