Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Tuesday, his office said. This comes days after a former Netanyahu spokesman was arrested for allegedly leaking confidential documents that may have harmed Gaza hostage negotiations. There is no evidence to show if Gallant's dismissal was linked to the leak. Gallant and Netanyahu have repeatedly been at odds throughout the war in Gaza.
