Career Tips, Science Courses after 12th: It is not easy to choose the right career option for higher education after 12th. For this, factors like future job prospects and master courses should be kept in mind. Students who pass 12th with science subject should be college admission very thoughtfully. Actually, in the era of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, the value of many subjects has completely ended.

If you have planned to be admission to BSc or other science courses in college, then wait a bit. You may study that course for 3 years and get a degree and then later get worried about a master's or job (Science Courses after 12th that have lost Value). 1. Botany: Most of the plant science courses have now been included in genetics, biotechnology, and environmental science. In such a situation, there is no point in taking a separate botany degree.

2. Zoology: Subjects related to zoology are now taught in wildlife conservation, ecology, and biology courses only. That is why the number of students taking admission in zoology has reduced.

3. Microbiology: Microbiology used to be a trending career option for science students. But now it is being taught as a topic in biotechnology, genetics, and immunology.

4. Physiology: If you want to specialize in physiology after the 12th, then wait a bit. The study of physiology has now been included in the syllabus of biology, biophysics, and neuroscience. Therefore, there is no benefit in doing this course separately.

5. Geology: The study of geology has now been included in environmental science, geophysics, and petroleum engineering. Take admission in the subject which has the maximum scope among these.

6. Meteorology: The study of meteorology is now done only in atmospheric science, climate change, and weather forecasting. The scope of meteorology is good. You can get a degree in it from a good institute.

7. Space Science: The study of space science is now being done only in astrophysics, planetary science, and astronautics. If you are interested in space science, then keeping in mind the prospects, you can take admission in Astrophysics.

8. Biochemistry: It is called Bio Chemistry in Hindi. In most institutes, now biochemistry is taught in subjects like molecular biology, genetics, and pharmacology.

Why has the demand for these science courses decreased?

There are many reasons behind the decrease in interest and demand for the above-mentioned courses among students studying science subjects after 12th-

1- Technological advancement and automation

2- Changes in industry and update of new technology

3- Changes in education and training

4- Economic and social changes

It is important to note here that these courses have not ended completely, but their demand has decreased or changed.
