An ICC delegation will visit Lahore from November 10 to 12 to review arrangements for 2025 Champions Trophy, according to The Express Tribune. The tournament schedule may be officially announced during this visit, in Pakistan.
Champions Trophy 2025 tournament is expected to attract prominent players and key figures from the cricket world. As per the proposed schedule, India and Pakistan are slated to be in the same group.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is pending approval from the Indian government to confirm India’s participation in matches set to take place in Pakistan.
The proposed grouping for Champions Trophy places India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand in Group A, with England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan in Group B. While these groupings await official confirmation, the tournament is expected to take place from February 19 to March 9.
