The producer is now bringing a film on a big issue of the country. Godhra incident of Gujarat is such an incident in the country which no one wants to remember. Now a film is coming on this 22 year old incident. Its trailer launch event was held on Wednesday. During this, Ekta answered many questions from the media. He was asked whether the film he had made was a propaganda film.
I am a Hindu. Hindu means secular. I will never make any such comment regarding any religion because I am a Hindu. I want to tell you that I respect every religion. You will see in the film that I have exposed the real culprits without opposing any religion. And this is the identity of a good storyteller. When you tell a story, you emphasize it. I am trying to do the same.
Then Ekta Kapoor was asked – There are many theories going on. Many books have been written. Was any political party responsible in this case? We have not made this film just by targeting conspiracy theories but have prepared it on the basis of deep research. When you watch this film, you yourself will agree with this. At one point during the making of the film, I started feeling that I don't know if I might need therapy. There was so much research that I myself was shocked. We don't even have any idea how things happened.
But for safety, only those things which are documented have been included in the film. During this time, no conspiracy theories have been taken into account. It has been made completely on the basis of facts. We had more information. But they were not made Aadhaar. We have made it completely on the basis of knowledge based on facts.
