Yes Bank has made a big cut in FD rates. The bank has reduced the interest rates by 25 basis points on FDs of less than Rs 3 crore. The revised FD rates have come into effect from November 5, 2024.
After revising the interest rates on FD, the bank is now giving interest ranging from 3.25 percent to 7.75 percent. Senior citizens are being given interest ranging from 3.75 percent to 8.25 percent. The highest interest of 7.75 percent is being given to general citizens on FD of 18 months. Senior citizens are being given 8.25 percent interest for this period.
Earlier, the bank used to give higher interest for the 18-month period. The interest given for the same period has been reduced by 25 basis points. Earlier, those who made FDs for this period used to get 8 percent interest, which has now been reduced by 25 basis points to 7.75 percent.
