Dimple Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, refuted Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s remarks on the Mughal Museum in Agra on Wednesday, pointing out the state’s pressing problems and accusing him of purposefully trying to divert attention and incite feelings.
Yogi Adityanath had earlier in the day made remarks on the Mughal Museum in Agra, raising doubts about its connection to the Mughal dynasty and proposing that it be renamed in honor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Dimple Yadav responded by denouncing such comments as diversionary and intended to evoke strong emotions.
“I think the purpose of these divisive remarks is to divert attention and arouse emotions. They won’t tell you how much money has been invested in Uttar Pradesh, where deals worth millions of rupees have been inked. However, Uttar Pradesh has not seen the establishment of any new industries. You won’t hear that from them. “This assertion is still accurate,” Dimple Yadav said.
The Member of Parliament for the SP said, “If you look at their politics, they have always used negative politics to gather votes, but today people from all communities have understood that by using such language, they want to make changes to the Constitution and kill democracy.”
Dimple said that under the present administration, India’s jobless rates are at an all-time high. “The nation’s history attests to the reality that, if we look at unemployment statistics, they are at their highest point right now, after the socialists and caste-based politics have finished their ten years in power. India has never had as high unemployment as it does today, according to statistics. The safety of women is plagued by several problems. How is our educational system doing right now? How are the roads in the villages doing? The health condition is bad, and DAP fertilizers are in scarce supply,” she said.
She went on to say that public health has become worse as a result of the government’s inability to address important concerns. “If they had done their job properly, today there would not be so many cancer patients, and they would have been able to open cancer institutes and hospitals, but even the ones that are open are not being properly managed,” said Dimple Yadav.
“I remember when I became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in 2017, I went to Agra,” Yogi Adityanath remarked during his Maharashtra campaign ahead of the next assembly election. I was informed that a Mughal had governed this region when I was surveying it. What is the relationship between India and the Mughal empire, I wondered? What is its relationship to Agra? I inquired about this ruler’s relationship to India, even though I was informed that he had ruled here.
It is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with whom we are connected. I suggested that the museum’s name be changed to reflect the Maratha heritage and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj rather than the Mughal empire. To commemorate the heritage of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, we have entirely renovated the museum, brothers.
