Mahira Khan, Pakistani superstar, has been awarded a prize by the British Parliament in appreciation of her outstanding effort across global cinema. The great ceremony of award-giving took place in the House of Commons, and was initiated by British MP Afzal Khan.
Mahira Khan, looking elegantly dressed, attended the gathering in black silk gown, teamed with a beautiful maroon and black dupatta. She was modest in her look, sans ornamentation, except for small earrings and distinctive hairstyle, which is middle parted in bun form.
In a proud moment shared with her fans, Mahira posted an image of her award on Instagram where her name is engraved and how great she has been at work in the entertainment world.

She said that while she was a Pashtun woman, she had finished her early education from Foundation Public School, Karachi before moving to UK for higher studies. She said that going abroad was the very first experience of her family as being a woman of the family, which made her stronger.
Reflecting upon her childhood, she said, “My parents brought me up equally-making sure I was given education, love, and the lesson to always strive for good in life.”
