To mark her birthday, the filmmakers unveiled the first-look poster on social media platform X, and Anushka looks menacing in it.
In this intense first-look poster, a woman hardened by adversity, is shown smoking and bearing injuries, hinting at a story of resilience and defiance. Set against a dark, gripping narrative, Ghaati explores a woman's transformation from victim to criminal mastermind, dealing in the illicit trade of cannabis. The words "VICTIM. CRIMINAL. LEGEND", on the poster seemingly hint at the journey Anushka's character goes through.
In the caption of the post shared on X, the makers, along with the three words mentioned above, wrote, "The Queen will now rule the GHAATI. Wishing 'The Queen' AnushkaShetty a very Happy Birthday (sic)", referring to Anushka Shetty as the Queen while they wished her a happy birthday.
They also announced that the first glimpse of Ghaati would be out on today, November 7 at 4.05 pm, and that the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Anushka's pairing with Krish Jagarlamudi, with whom she previously collaborated on Vedam, is generating high expectations. Their past success and Anushka's portrayal of strong female roles have fans eagerly awaiting her performance. The film is produced by UV Creations in collaboration with First Frame Entertainments, with a script penned by Krish, Sai Madhav Burra, and Chintakindi Srinivas Rao. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Vikram Prabhu and Jagapathi Babu amongst others.

The film, which saw her playing the role of a strong-minded chef seeking a platonic relationship with a comedian, received positive reviews and performed well at the box office, marking her return to the big screen after a brief hiatus.
