The September 2024 recruiting results were made public by the Union Public Service Commission. Post informed each of the suggested candidates directly. The schedule for the forthcoming Engineering Services (Preliminary) test 2025, which is scheduled for June 8 of the following year, was also made public by UPSC.

Two shifts will be used for the exam: Paper I will run from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, and Paper II will run from 2 pm to 5 pm.There will be 200-mark questions on Paper I and 300-mark questions on Paper II. Those who pass the preliminary test go to the main exam, which is scheduled for August 10, 2025.

The goal of the hiring campaign is to fill 457 positions. Candidates may register for ESE 2025 on upsc.gov.in and submit their applications till November 22 of this year. November 23 to November 29 is when the application correction window will be open.
