In a startling story from Kanpur, a schoolteacher was compelled to flee a rape attempt by running down the street half-naked. Under the guise of a nice visit, the teacher’s friend’s acquaintance asked her to his house, which started her horror. The accused allegedly attacked and severely battered the instructor after arriving at the scene.

Fearing for her life, the woman ran half-naked on the road as she tried to rescue herself by leaving the home. Following quick notification to the police, a formal complaint (FIR) was filed at the Barra Police Station under many BNS provisions, including 87/127(2)/74/115(2)/304(2). To find the accused, authorities have now started a search.
