Bhavana Panday who is happily married to Bollywood actor Chunky Panday has always been open about her wedding. Bhavana recently appeared as a guest on Netflixs popular show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives where she shared several anecdotes from her wedding. She revealed that her wedding was attended by Bollywood’s elite including cinema icon Rekha and superstar Salman Khan. While she expected these famous names to be part of the event what she didn’t anticipate was the reaction from her relatives. In an interview with Mid-day Bhavana opened up about her relatives overwhelming experience. She said “We had a huge engagement in Delhi and Chunky and all the actors flew down for the ceremony. In those days seeing actors was not that common. We had Rekha and Salman Khan and people were going crazy. I was so embarrassed because forgotten my relatives even my own sisters and everyone was going crazy seeing all the actors. I was like ‘Oh my god what should I do?’ I was so embarrassed but my father-in-law told me something very nice then. He said ‘Listen if people didn’t react to them like this then they would have something to worry about.’” When asked about the secret behind her successful 26-year marriage Bhavana replied “Friendship always stays. If that is the core of a relationship then I think it will work out. You have to fight with your husband like you would fight with your friend but forgive and make up with them too just as you would with your friends. Bhavana also shared details about her vow renewal ceremony featured toward the end of the latest season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. During the ceremony when she and Chunky shared a kiss their daughters Ananya and Rysa were seen shyly closing their eyes. Bhavana mentioned that she has often felt uncomfortable with public displays of affection (PDA) but Chunky is quite the opposite. She also recounted his reaction to their daughters response to their kiss.
