UPSC ESE 2025 Prelims: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the timetable for UPSC Engineering Services (Preliminary) Exam 2025 on the official website. Candidates who wish to appear for the UPSC ESE Prelims 2025 exam can visit the official website. To check the timetable.

As per the official timetable, the UPSC ESE Prelims exam will be held on June 8, 2025, in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. The second shift will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm on the same day.

Which exam in which shift?

In the first shift from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, candidates will have to appear for the General Studies and Engineering Aptitude Paper (Paper-I). It will be an objective paper of 200 marks and candidates will have to solve the questions in a time of 2 hours.

In the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm, candidates from Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering will have to appear for Discipline Specific Paper/Paper-II. It will be an objective paper of 300 marks and candidates will have to answer the questions in a time of 3 hours.
