Good Morning Britain left some viewers rather frustrated during the latest episode as things became tense in the studio.

During Friday's edition (November 8), Charlotte Hawkins and Adil Ray were back in the hot seat delivering the latest news stories from the UK and across the globe. But temperatures started to rise at a dramatic rate which some viewers found annoying.

During a discussion on and the relationship he has with the UK, things got heated as the guests Salma Shah and Caroline Flint who were invited onto the show started shouting over each other. The noise in the studio was far too loud for viewers at home who were quick to complain on social media.

Heading over to X, one viewer said: "Love how everyone is having a meltdown after Trump's election win."

Another said: "This is a really poorly-handled debate, that's on a poor basis anyway. Be better to say 'Let's wait and see shall we?'.... and move onto something of value."

One fan pointed out that the guests were "shouting over each other". While another said: "Too loud for me this morning. 3 speaking and shouting all at once. Off it goes." Meanwhile, another viewer begged: "One at a time. Shut up!"

The clash that took place on screen occurred when Salma and Caroline discussed Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner's previous comments about Trump. Rayner previously branded Trump a "buffoon" which has now sparked outrage.

Sharing their thoughts on Rayner and Trump's relationship with the UK, Caroline said: "Yeah well I might of chosen different words myself to describe his approach to the pandemic because I thought he was wrong with many of his remarks during that time.

"But again a lot of this is about theatre. Again, he knows the special relationship is important."

However, presenter Charlotte and Salma quickly interjected, stopping Caroline in her tracks. Salma said: "I have to disagree with you there. I worked with the Trump administration when I was in the Home Office in 2017 - the first Trump administration and he does take things seriously!"

But as she spoke, Caroline continued to add her stance which caused havoc in the studio.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1.
