Indian batsman KL Rahul is already finding difficulty in gaining his spot and form in the national side. He has been struggling with his timing and shot selection. KL Rahul was dropped after the first Test against New Zealand where he scored 12 runs in 2 innings. Earlier he was dropped from the T20 squad going for the World Cup, since then he has not been a part of the t20 format as well. Unexpectedly, KL Rahul's exit during the second unofficial Test between India A and Australia A at the Melbourne Cricket Ground has become a topic of intense debate in Indian cricket. Rahul, who has been under scrutiny for his inconsistent performances, left the field after scoring only 10 runs off 44 balls. As India prepares for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), this incident has once again raised questions about his form and readiness. In the 18th over arm off-spinner, Corey Rocchiccioli bowled a half-tracker to KL which he thought would turn and go past him. He completely misread the bowl and offered no shot to that delivery. He just padded the bowl which eventually went on to hit his stumps. After his dismissal, he walked off in disappointment. BCCI selector gave a golden opportunity to KL Rahul to regain his confidence and form before the start of BGT but eventually, he failed to do so in this unofficial test match against Australia. He failed to score in both the innings.
