Aditya-Udit Narayan to perform free of charge to raise funds for children battling cancer
Iconic singer Udit Narayan along with his song Aditya Narayan are ready to perform for a social cause making their fans super proud of them. As per the reports, the duo will be performing free of charge to raise funds for children battling cancer. While talking about it, here is what Aditya and Udit ji had to say.
Udit Narayan and recently interacted with an entertainment portal to share their views on this cause and what does music mean to them. Following a successful US tour, the duo will perform to raise funds for children battling cancer. Aditya said, “When we heard about the chance to perform for kids battling cancer, we didn’t think twice. It’s an honor to be able to contribute in any way we can to their journey, and music felt like the perfect way to do so.” To this, Udit Narayan added, “This cause is very close to our hearts. Music has a way of healing and lifting spirits, and if our songs can bring even a small moment of happiness to these children, it’s worth every effort. We’ve both been blessed with so much love over the years, and this is one way for us to give back, especially to these young fighters who inspire us with their strength.”

While interacting with an entertainment portal, he said, “that he was apparently approached by the makers of the movie for this song, but he made them wait which did not sit well with the makers. Udit Narayan revealed that he feels that he made a mistake due to the miscommunication that happened. While talking all about it, he said that he didn't know the song was being recreated for a film produced by Karan Johar . Udit Narayan admitted that it was his mistake, acknowledging that the producers had approached him to sing the song and waited for four months for his response. He explained that there was a miscommunication, which led to his delay in committing to the 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' track. Udit Narayan recounted that he was informed the song was being recreated for a Rajkummar Rao film. He emphasized that the misunderstanding arose because the person who contacted him failed to clarify that they intended to recreate the same song he had previously sung. Moreover, they neglected to mention it was for a Karan Johar film. Narayan assumed it was a new composer undertaking the recreation and admitted to not giving it sufficient attention. He candidly acknowledged his mistake, stating there was confusion, and even he was unaware. Narayan concluded by stating that if he had received a clear explanation, he would not have hesitated to accept the offer.”
