Bengaluru: The city woke up to a foggy morning on Sunday after witnessing a rainfall till late night. This will be followed by a cloudy sky later in the day, predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). It indicates that Bengaluru can witness more rain today, November 10. According to the IMD prediction, there will be cloudy skies till November 15 in Bengaluru, with the maximum temperature ranging between 28 and 29 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will be settling between 19 and 20, said the IMD.
A local real-time rain tracker reported on November 9 that areas, including BTM Layout, HBR Layout and Banaswadi, received rainfall till 1.30 am.
One of the residents shared about the Bengaluru weather, asking if winter is coming. He said that ‘the morning felt chilly’. In a post shared on X, formerly Twitter, he wrote, “A bit of chill in the air, lagta hai winter is setting in.. (seems like winter is setting in) but you never know with Bangalore weather, pata nahi kab phir se baarish ho jaye… (when it will rain).
Residents Seek Strong Infrastructure for Heavy Rain Meanwhile, residents have requested for better infrastructure in the city that can sustain in the heavy rain. A resident posted, “North #Bangalore is still within city limits, then how come we don't see the patch work (Blr is famous for) happening in & around Jakkur? Also, for how long will this last? Last time in ONE HEAVY RAIN, the patch work broke Good quality roads, no corruption - alien concepts?”
Another resident said, “... A 2 min rain is causing flood like situations. Garbage is lingering in each and every corner of the streets. Clean this mess first and then ask for development projects”.
