Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi soon. In such a situation, Aam Aadmi Party has also geared up. The party is once again trying hard to capture power in Delhi. However, Aam Aadmi Party and party convenor Arvind Kejriwal face a big challenge to form a hat-trick of government in Delhi on their own. Understanding this challenge, former Chief Minister of the state Arvind Kejriwal has decided that the standards will have to be kept high in the distribution of tickets in the elections. In such a situation, it is believed that perhaps tickets of sitting MLAs can be canceled on a large scale in Delhi. Kejriwal has given a clear indication of this in the workers' conference last Monday.
While addressing the party workers, Arvind Kejriwal made it clear that this time the Aam Aadmi Party will distribute the tickets very carefully. The party will not give preference to any kind of brother, nephew and nepotism. Tickets will be available on the basis of survey. In such a situation, the workers should not pledge their allegiance to the MLA or councilor but to Kejriwal. Let us assume that Arvind Kejriwal is contesting on all 70 seats. He said that the workers should work for the party to win.
These days Kejriwal is busy making strategies to win the assembly elections. After leaving the post of CM, he is addressing the people of Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party may be considering this as the mantra of victory. But Bharatiya Janata Party's Delhi state president Virendra Sachdeva has claimed that Kejriwal's statement means that he has accepted defeat even before the elections.
On this statement of Virendra Sachdeva, Delhi Government Minister Gopal Rai has said that Aam Aadmi Party has already been distributing tickets on the basis of public feedback and in this election also the party will give tickets only after taking feedback. He said that BJP should worry about itself and not about Aam Aadmi Party.
Actually, this election is very special from the point of view of Aam Aadmi Party. Because the party not only has to gain majority in this election. Rather, the litmus test will have to be passed regarding the allegations against Arvind Kejriwal's honesty and working image. For which the party does not want to leave any stone unturned. But this path is not so easy, that is why the party is trying to step forward with all its might.
