A notice has also been sent to the makers of the show in this regard. Dr. Mandal, President of Bongo-speaking Mahasabha Foundation, has sent this notice to Kapil Sharma's show. In this notice it has been said that some such acts have been done in 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', which tarnish the image of the late poet Shri Rabindranath Tagore.

The makers of the show replied

The notice said that there is a danger of hurting the religious and cultural sentiments of Bengalis not only in India but across the world. The producers of the show have now also reacted to this. While giving this notice, he said that he had no intention of misrepresenting Tagore's work and legacy and he did not want to mock anyone's sentiments.

Notice to Salman's production house also?

The makers said that 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' is a comedy show, whose purpose is only to entertain. He further said that this show is parody and fiction, the purpose of which is not to misrepresent any person or community. Apart from this, it was also rumored that Salman Khan's production house has also received a legal notice regarding this. However, the actor's team has issued a statement and clarified the matter by separating itself from 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'.
