North Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024: North Western Railway has invited applications for Apprentice posts. The registration process is currently on and will end on December 10, 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment by visiting the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell, Jaipur, rrcjaipur.in. Under this recruitment drive, about 1,800 posts will be filled in the organization.

A total of 1,791 posts of Apprentice will be filled through this recruitment drive. The vacancy details are as follows:

BTC Carriage, Ajmer: 99 posts
BTC Loco, Ajmer: 69 posts
Carriage Workshop, Bikaner: 32 posts
Carriage Workshop, Jodhpur: 70 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks (no rounding off will be done) in aggregate from a recognized board.

Candidate must also possess a National Trade Certificate in notified trade issued by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT)/State Council of Vocational Training (SCVT).

Candidate must have completed 15 years of age and must not be more than 24 years as of 10.12.2024.

Selection Process
The selection of eligible candidates will be based on the merit list prepared. For this purpose, the merit list will be prepared based on a percentage of marks in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be based on a simple average of marks in Matriculation and ITI.

Application Fee
The application fee for all candidates is Rs.100. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), and Women category are exempted from payment of application fee.
