Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-Fat recently addressed rumors about having tumors, clarifying that the lumps on his legs were simply harmless subcutaneous fat.
“It went away without any discomfort or pain,” the actor revealed at a luxury brand event last week, where he appeared alongside his wife, Jasmine Tan.
The 69-year-old actor reassured fans that these lumps, which sparked speculation after photos surfaced in May, disappeared following a light massage and caused no discomfort, according to The Stars.

Photos that appeared online in May showed ping-pong-ball-sized lumps on Chow’s legs, leading to concerns they might be tumors, as reported by 8 Days.
While some speculated the protrusions were varicose veins from running, others suggested they could be cysts or lipomas. However, Chow assured fans of his well-being and expressed his passion for running, sharing that he regularly runs 10 km and enjoys taking selfies with fans during his morning jogs.
Chow, who began his career with TVB in 1974, gained fame through series like “The Bund”, “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”, and “The Yang’s Saga”, and later starred in iconic films like “A Better Tomorrow,” “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” and “God of Gamblers.”
Chow also gained admiration for his philanthropic commitment to donate his $700 million fortune to charity after his passing, according to The Independent.
