After reaching Gwalior, Yulia was pressured to perform an obscene dance, but when she refused and expressed her desire to go back to Russia, Deepu and the bar owner refused to return her passport.

For about 18 days, Yulia wandered in search of her passport in Gwalior and Delhi. When she felt that she would not get her passport, she met Gwalior SP Dharmveer Singh Yadav and explained her problem. On receiving the complaint, SP Yadav took immediate action detained the bar operator, and called for the passport from Deepu who was in Delhi. After some time, the passport was returned and Yulia was allowed to go back.
