Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 faced a major box office clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again at the box office, despite the horror-comedy makers announcing their release date well in advance. While eventually both films did well during Diwali, the lead up to the releases saw a bit of a tension between the teams of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again.In a recent interview, BB 3 producer Bhushan Kumar opened up about the mega box office clash, alleging favouritism in screen allocation. They understood, but they also had their limitations as the film’s theme was inspired by Ramayana, so they could not miss the Diwali release," Bhushan told Connect Cine.Speaking of the unequel screen allocation, where Singham Again was assigned more number of screens, Bhushan said, "I didn’t go to the Competition Commission. We had a lot of arguments with the Singham Again team because they were being unfair. In all survey reports, we were equal; on that basis, we had requested the competition commission to keep the screen allocation 50-50. There was some personal interest behind this favouritism but they also assured me that they wouldn’t let my film bear losses.""Eventually, I suggested starting the advance booking and seeing the response, because our film was buzzing," the T-Series head-honcho added.Both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again have crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office thus far.
