Bihar Police Constable Result 2024 out: The results of the Bihar Police Recruitment Examination have been released. Lakhs of youth had applied for the recruitment of a total of 21,391 posts. For this, examinations were conducted on different dates at 545 centers in 38 districts of the state. Notification was issued on 9 June 2023 for the recruitment of Police Constable in Bihar, however, the written examination for this was conducted in August this year, and now the result has been released. How many posts for whom

Recruitment was done for a total of 21,391 posts of Bihar Police Constable. Out of these, seats were already decided as per reservation, according to which 8,556 are reserved for general category, 2,140 for economically weaker section (EWS), 3,400 for SC, 3,842 for extremely backward class (EBC), 2,570 for backward class (BC), 655 for backward class women, and 228 posts are reserved for scheduled tribe (ST).

How many candidates applied in total?

A total of 18,33,387 applications were received for the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Exam, out of which 27,672 candidates canceled their applications themselves. Apart from this, the forms of 14,484 applicants were found incomplete. In this way, a total of 17,91,231 applicants submitted forms and application fees for these posts, out of which 3,511 applications were rejected. After this, the total number of applicants remained at 17,87,720.

How many gave the written exam

Written exams were conducted in a total of 6 phases across the state. Out of 17,87,720 applicants, only 11,95,101 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of these, 511 candidates were found ineligible, due to which a total of 11,94,590 participated in the written exam.

How many out of 11.94 lakh passed

Out of 11.94 lakh candidates who took part in the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Exam, the number of candidates who passed is 1,06,955. Now let's talk about how many candidates of which category have been successful:

42,780 candidates of the General category have passed the written exam.

10,700 candidates in the EWS category have been successful.

17,000 from Scheduled Caste (SC), 1,140 from Scheduled Tribe (ST), 19,210 from Extremely Backward Class (EBC), 12,850 from Backward Class (BC), and 3,275 women from Backward Class (WBC) have been declared successful.
