In Gopalganj, Bihar, fearless miscreants shot and killed an engineer in public. There was sensation in the area after the murder. This incident of murder did not happen anywhere else but in Saraiya Ward No. 1 near Brichha Baba Mod of the city police station area. It is being told that the deceased had studied B.Tech (Engineering). After completing his studies he came to his home. The name of the deceased was Prakhar Dubey. 28-year-old Prakhar Dubey was the son of Nityanand Dubey, a resident of Saraiya Ward No. 1 of the city.
It is being told that on Thursday, he was strolling on Shambhu Path outside his house, when armed criminals riding on a bike openly opened fire on him. The bullet hit him in the head, resulting in his death on the spot. There was sensation in the area after the firing incident. Hearing the sound of the bullet, people started running here and there. Later, with the help of local people, the deceased was brought to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital, where his post-mortem was conducted.
Deceased's maternal uncle Mithilesh Kumar Gautam told that Prakhar Dubey had studied B.Tech from Bhopal. After completing his B.Tech studies, he came to his home. He was not working anywhere right now. On Thursday, he was walking outside his house on Bhitbhairava Road when he was shot. Uncle Mithilesh Kumar Gautam did not tell anything about the reason for the shooting.
Meanwhile, Gopalganj Sadar SDPO Pranjal said that based on the statement of the family members, an FIR has been registered against the criminals and investigation has been started. He said that the family members have shared some angles regarding the murder with the police. The police is investigating the murder from every angle. However, the SDPO has not revealed the reasons for the murder. SDPO said that soon the miscreants will be identified and arrested.
