A case that put an embarrassment to relationships has come to light in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, where an maternal uncle fell in love with his own sister-in-law. The love between the two grew so much that both of them consumed poison due to the fear of being away from each other. Both of them are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital in critical condition. Police have registered a case based on the statements of both of them and their family members and further action is being taken.
According to the information, this whole matter is of a locality of Nichlaul where uncle and niece consumed poison together on Thursday. Seeing the condition of both of them worsening, the family took them to the hospital. If their condition did not improve after treatment at the Community Health Centre, they were referred to the district hospital where both are undergoing treatment. While both of them were undergoing treatment, a policeman reached there to whom the maternal uncle requested to save himself and his niece.
When the policeman wanted to know the whole matter from him, the uncle told that he was having an affair with his niece. Both want to live and die together. That's why he had bought poison from the shop. First he fed poison to his niece and then he himself consumed poison. After this, when the policeman reached the niece, the niece told that the uncle had mixed something in the water. Uncle made him drink it along with chow mein. Shortly after drinking it, he started having severe stomach pain. The niece's age is said to be 15 years.
When the mother came to know that her daughter had consumed poison, she came back to her parents' house from her in-laws. After reaching the hospital, he told the police that his daughter's health had deteriorated 15 days ago. After which she brought him to her maternal home for treatment and left him here and went back. The mother told that she had no apprehension about such actions of her brother and daughter. Nichlaul CO Anuj Singh told that uncle and niece are being treated in the hospital. The matter is being investigated and legal action is being taken.
