Hyderabad: Spokesman for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Naveen Subhash, said that infiltrators have targeted Jharkhand’s indigenous women and that the state has turned into a “hub of terrorist activities.”
“Jharkhand is a very fertile land,” Subash told media reports on Thursday. Known as the “land of forests,” it is home to numerous tribal people; nearly 40% of the population of nearly 4.8 crore people live below the poverty line, infiltrators, particularly Rohingyas and those from Bangladesh, target women, and it has turned into a center for terrorist activity.”
“They (Bangladeshi infiltrators) are ensnaring innocent ladies, particularly tribal women, who are very attractive. They are attempting to sway them by offering them money and other incentives, and then they marry them. “They’re also stealing the land from the tribal people,” he said.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said earlier this month that if the BJP took power, they would expel the infiltrators from the state and pass legislation giving the tribal people back the land that had been encroached upon.
“Hemant Soren is not bothered to build industries in Jharkhand or create electricity,” Amit Shah remarked during a Jharkhand election campaign. Iron ore and aluminum mines exist, but Hemant Soren seems unconcerned that they are produced here. Allowing the infiltrators to enter Jharkhand is his sole worry.
For the second or third time, these infiltrators invade Jharkhand, marry innocent indigenous girls, and intrude on their territory. “The state would expel these infiltrators who have infringed upon the territories of defenseless tribal women,” he said.
There are two stages to the Jharkhand Assembly elections.
On November 13, 43 assembly seats were covered in the first phase. On November 20, elections will be held for the remaining 38 seats. November 23 is when the votes will be counted.
