When Prasad Recipe: Today, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, is being celebrated across the country, which is known as Prakash Parv in Sikhism. On this special day, a different glow is seen in the Gurudwara. Along with the importance of Ardaas and Kirtan in Gurudwara, Kada Prasad is also given as Prasad. This prasad of Gurudwara is the most delicious prasad and also has the blessings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Let us tell you here that the Kada Prasad made on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti represents the divine grace of God. Besides, many people also like its taste very much. This Prasad is considered a blessing from God. You can easily make it at home. Let us know its method.
Whole wheat flour (slightly ground) – 1 cup
Desi ghee – 1 cup
Sugar- 1 cup
Water- 3 cups
1- First of all, put 3 cups of water in a saucepan and boil it well.
2-Then add sugar in it and stir until it dissolves completely. When the syrup is ready, keep it aside.
3-After this, heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan on medium flame. When the ghee starts melting, add all the flour into it.
4-Now keep stirring this flour continuously and fry the flour in ghee for about 15-20 minutes or until it turns golden brown and a light aroma starts appearing in it.
5- To prevent the flour from burning, keep stirring it continuously.
6-After this, carefully and slowly add hot sugar syrup to the roasted flour and keep stirring it continuously to avoid formation of lumps.
7-Keep stirring the halwa and cook until it becomes thick and ghee starts separating from the sides of the pan.
8-Finally, turn off the flame and serve the Kadha Prasad hot. Traditionally, it is served hot straight from the pan.
