Mahavikas Aghadi has not announced the Chief Ministerial face in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, although the ally party Shiv Sena (UBT) had demanded to declare the CM face, but Congress and NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) rejected it. In both Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi Suspense remains regarding the face of the post of Chief Minister. On Friday, NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar party chief Sharad Pawar while talking to 'TV9 Marathi' expressed his views regarding CM face.
Sharad Pawar was asked an important question regarding MP Supriya Sule. The party had demanded that Supriya Sule be made the Chief Minister. On the question of making Supriya Sule the CM, Sharad Pawar said that he is interested in parliamentary politics. Also, assembly elections have not been held yet. Voting did not take place and before that it is not appropriate to talk about the post of Chief Minister.
He said he was not interested. I see that he is interested in parliamentary politics. People will make demands. In the end you also have to see what is your choice? In our party, the assembly members will sit together and take decisions. The second thing is that there is neither majority nor the result of the election. There is no point in discussing the post of Chief Minister before that.
Sharad Pawar said, “I have given nothing to Supriya Sule except the Lok Sabha. Supriya Sule has no interest in the assembly. People will discuss something. But in my opinion Supriya Sule has no interest in the assembly. All the leaders of our party will sit and take decisions.
He asked whether 2-3 parties will come together to form the government or one party. Now our question is that as a party we are not fighting on enough seats to dream of becoming the Chief Minister tomorrow so we will all come together. If the marks are good, we will sit together. Generally, we will give priority to those who have more seats and will give better government to the people.
Sharad Pawar was asked a question regarding the 2019 assembly elections. At that time the decision was taken to make Uddhav Thackeray the Chief Minister. When Pawar was asked a question about this, he said, “At that time there was a need for a face for the post of Chief Minister. Now the situation is different. Let's see who gets how many seats.
He said that elections were contested on ten seats in the Lok Sabha and eight were won. What is strike rate? It does not matter how many seats were contested and how many seats were won. This is important.
Regarding Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar said thatEveryone has the right to work anywhere, but if the ideology was different… we were fighting someone. It is a fraud that Ajit Pawar contested elections against him and sat in his favor, we have no relation with the people with whom he went, because our ideology is different.
