MP: Program on contribution of tribals in freedom struggle started in schools, program will run till 25

Programs on Lord Birsa Munda Jayanti have started from today in Madhya Pradesh. This program will run till 25th November. In this regard, the School Education Department has issued instructions to all the district education officers to organize the program in a dignified atmosphere.

During this time, special prayer meetings will be organized in schools and a seminar will be held on the contribution of Birsa Munda in the freedom struggle and the sacrifices of the tribal community and their role in the freedom struggle. Along with this, special modules focused on them will be prepared. Children will be taken on educational tours to tribal museums.

Children of schools of Madhya Pradesh will be introduced to the rich traditions and lifestyle of the tribal community by taking them on a tour of the houses of the tribal community. Lectures by subject experts will be given to school children to give them information about the culture, history of the tribal community, their contribution and the rich heritage of the tribes.

Teachers have been asked to conduct wall painting projects to make school children aware of the rich traditions of the tribal society. Through these pictures, children will also be given information about forest wealth and wildlife in tribal areas.
