Everyone likes it, but have you ever eaten raw turmeric halwa or heard about it? If not then today we will tell you its recipient. And in this cold season you must definitely eat this turmeric halwa. Kachi Haldi Halwa: Ingredients

  • Raw turmeric – 250 grams
  • Almonds – 1 cup
  • Jaggery – 1 cup
  • Gram flour – 1 cup
  • Green cardamom – 8-10
  • Almond slivers – 1 tablespoon
  • Desi Ghee – 200 grams

Method

1- First of all, take raw turmeric, peel it, wash it and dry it. After this, cut turmeric into small pieces and put them in the mixer jar.

2- Now add 2-3 tablespoons of water in the jar and grind the raw turmeric very finely. After this, take 3/4 cup almonds and grind them with the help of a mixer.

3- Now put 4 tablespoons of desi ghee in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the ghee melts, reduce the flame and add ground turmeric to it and fry.

4- When the turmeric absorbs the ghee well and leaves the remaining ghee, add finely ground almonds to it, mix and fry for 2-3 minutes. After this turn off the gas.

5- Even after the flame is switched off, keep stirring the turmeric-almond mixture in the pan with the help of a ladle for 1-2 minutes.

Now add 2-3 tablespoons of ghee in another pan and heat it. After the ghee melts, add gram flour to it and fry.

6- When the gram flour turns light pink and aroma starts coming from it, add crushed jaggery to it and cook on low flame till the jaggery melts.

7- When the jaggery melts well, add roasted turmeric and almonds to this mixture, mix and add 1 tablespoon ghee on top.

8- Now fry the halwa on medium flame for 1-2 minutes. After this, add coarsely crushed green cardamom seeds and mix. After this, cook the halwa for one more minute. After this turn off the gas. Raw turmeric halwa is ready.
