Under the able leadership of Praful Patel, Administrator Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, the state formation day celebration of Uttarakhand Foundation Day was organized under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat on 9th November 2024 Commemorating 24th Foundation Day of Uttarakhand at Collectorate, Daman.

On the said occasion, the eminent people of the Uttarakhand region residing in Daman District were felicitated with Bouquets by Aarti Agarwal, Deputy Collector (Gen.), Daman and also displayed a video message of the Governor of Uttarakhand on the occasion of Uttarakhand State Foundation Day at Collectorate, Daman.

On this occasion, the Deputy Collector (Gem), Daman addressed that India takes pride in its rich history, culture and heritage. The Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat program aims to enhance interaction and promote mutual understanding between people of different states and Union Territories.

Further, he also said that celebrating occasions like this aims to promote sustained and structured cultural connections in areas of language learning, culture, tradition and music, tourism and cuisine, sports, and sharing of best practices.
