Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari on Friday termed BJP's election guarantee in the state as false. The Congress leader claimed that the five guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi including Ladli Brahmin Yojana in Madhya Pradesh are lies. Jitu Patwari says that BJP is misleading Maharashtra like Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari in a press conference targeted BJP's election guarantee. The Congress leader also challenged former Chief Minister and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. He said that he should name even one beneficiary of Ladli Brahmin Yojana who is getting a monthly allowance of Rs 3,000.
In June this year, the grand alliance government comprising BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP had announced the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Under this, women aged 21-65 years will be given a monthly allowance of Rs 1,500. To avail this benefit, the annual family income of the beneficiaries should be limited to Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced that if the ruling coalition comes to power in the assembly elections to be held on November 20, the allowance will be increased to Rs 2,100 per month. At the same time, Jitu Patwari alleged that none of the five guarantees of PM Modi including Rs 3,000 under the Ladli Brahmin Scheme were fulfilled. This scheme was announced only for votes and the government was formed
Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari asked, who is responsible for this? The Congress leader said that Shivraj Singh Chouhan is campaigning in Maharashtra and Jharkhand and talking about Ladli Behna Yojana. He claimed that the beneficiary is not getting this amount under this scheme. The promises made during the state elections were completely false and the people of Maharashtra are also being misled in the same way.
