Bullet is the nickname of Royal Enfield's bike. Till 10-15 years ago, Royal Enfield was known as Bullet. The mileage of the old Bullet was less compared to today's Royal Enfield and this bike did not come with self-start. In such a situation the bullet was started by kicking.

It was very difficult to start the Bullet in winter season, because due to cold the engine would get hot and it would require a kick to start it. Also, the weight of 10-15 year old Bullet was more compared to today's Royal Enfield. In such a situation, to drive it, a rider of strong physique was required, who looks domineering.

Great design and powerful engine

The heavy and strong design of Bullet makes it different from other bikes. Its engine is powerful and its thumping sound (dug-dug sound) gives it a special identity, which gives a feeling of strength and dominance.

Use in police and army

Bullets have been in use in the Indian Army and Police for a long time. Due to this, this bike has been associated with a powerful and disciplined image. Besides, leaders and actors have also been driving Bullet in rallies. In such a situation, the role of Bullet bike has always been among the people. Bullets are considered a status symbol in rural and small towns. The people running it are often seen as powerful or influential people.

Favorite vehicle of Dabangg characters in films

In Bollywood and regional cinema, Bullet has been shown many times with characters like Dabangg and Robin Hood. Like in the films of “Dabangg” series, Salman Khan's character is seen with a bike like Bullet. In the film Bullet Raja, actors Saif Ali Khan and Jimmy Shergill, who played the role of Dabangg hero, are shown riding a Bullet bike. This film was based on gangsters and bullying of North India.
