BCCI Secretary Jay Shah is soon going to become the Chairman of ICC. After which he will have to leave the post of BCCI. However, now some fans are also looking at this decision as a conspiracy. Jay Shah, son of Home Minister of the Government of India Amit Shah, has been playing the role of BCCI Secretary for a long time. He sat on this post for the first time in October 2019. After which his tenure is ending on December 1, 2024. Along with this, he was also the Chairman of Asian Cricket Council from the year 2021.

According to which any person can hold any post in BCCI only for 6 consecutive years. After that he will have to go through a cooling period of 3 years.
