For the unaware, OPPO launched the Find X8 series last month in China, featuring MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and Hasselblad optics. So without any delays, let's look at all the details about the upcoming OPPO Find X8 and the X8 Pro.
OPPO Find X8, Find X8 Pro: Design, Features We Know So Far
The OPPO Find X8 series will feature an "Infinite View Display," which is designed with ultra-thin bezels to deliver a more immersive visual experience. Both the Find X8 and the Find X8 Pro models are slim and lightweight, with "Cosmos Ring Camera Design," which incorporates a symmetrical layout for the lenses.
OPPO has engineered a "Triple Prism Design" and periscope arrangement for the telephoto lenses, which supports DSLR-level zoom without compromising sensor quality or adding bulk. In terms of features, the standard Find X8 will have a 6.59-inch Pro-XDR AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760x1256 pixels and support for a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz - 120Hz
The Find X8 Pro will feature a slightly larger 6.78-inch Pro-XDR AMOLED display with a resolution of 2780x1264 pixels. However, both handsets will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Find X8 series will ship with Android 15-based ColorOS 15 with OPPO AI integration and a 'One Touch to Share' feature. For imaging, the Find X8 will offer a triple-camera setup on the back co-tuned with Hasselblad, comprising a 50MP Sony IMX LYT-700 primary shooter, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL HN5 ultrawide lens, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope unit with OIS and 3x optical zoom.
On the other side, the Pro model will get a quad-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP Sony IMX LYT-808 primary camera, a 50MP ISOCELL HN5 ultrawide sensor, a 50MP (Sony IMX882) Hasselblad portrait camera, and 50MP Sony IMX858 periscope-telephoto unit. Moreover, both models will feature a 32MP selfie camera sensor.
The standard variant will pack a 5,630mAh battery, while the Pro model will have a 5,910mAh battery. Lastly, both devices will support 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging as well as magnetic charging.
