Mike Tyson refused to rule out returning to the ring after his defeat to Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on Saturday morning. Paul beat the 58-year-old icon by unanimous decision in the controversial bout in Arlington, Texas, which faced boos from the AT&T Stadium crowd during the final two rounds.

Fans were unsatisfied with a perceived lack of action across the fight's eight rounds, which last two minutes rather than three.

That was one of the changes the Texas Athletic Commission enforced to allow the event to proceed after several states refused, considering Paul is 31 years Tyson's junior.

Both boxers were also made to wear heavier gloves to lessen the force of punches, handing sceptics another reason to criticise the Netflix showdown.

After his defeat, Tyson left the door open on his future inside the squared circle, admitting he could step within the ropes once more if the right opportunity arose.

When Netflix host Ariel Helwani asked whether he was done, Iron Mike replied: "I don't know. It depends on the situation."

Helwani then suggested it was his last time in a boxing ring. However, Tyson again hinted he was keen to dance again, responding: "I don't think so."

He then offered a suggestive nod after a surprised Helwani reacted: "You've got more in you?!"
