NCB’s big action against drug mafia in Delhi, drugs worth Rs 900 crore seized

Drug mafias are continuously trying to make Delhi a drug den, in such a situation the Narcotics Control Bureau i.e. NCB has got great success. 82.53 kg high grade cocaine has been seized in Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has shared this information. NCB has achieved a big milestone in the direction of making the country drug free. NCB has seized the largest consignment of drugs so far in Delhi.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that NCB has seized cocaine worth crores of rupees in Delhi on Friday. He said that the Indian government's war against drug smugglers is continuing and such major actions will continue to be taken in future also. During interrogation, it was revealed that these drugs were being sent from Delhi to Australia. High grade cocaine was brought to Delhi from Ahmedabad and Sonipat. The price of this drug in the international market is around Rs 900 crore.

two accused arrested

The two persons from whom NCB recovered drugs while conducting raids have been arrested. The names of both the persons are said to be Lokesh Chopra and Awadhesh Yadav. This is NCB's biggest land-based recovery. Just a few hours before this, a large consignment of drugs was seized in Gujarat. In which drugs named Meth were recovered. Its price in the international market was said to be around Rs 2000 crore.

8 Iranians arrested

In Gujarat, NCB, ATS and Navy jointly conducted an operation and caught a ship in the sea inside the Indian borders in which 700 kg of drugs named Meth were recovered. There were a total of 8 Iranian youths on board this ship who have been arrested. So far, a total of 25 people have been arrested, of which 11 are Iranians and 14 are Pakistanis. The Central Government has started a campaign to make India drug free by 2047, under which this action is being taken.
