Meanwhile, Saver Police of Indore had received information from an informer that some accused were going to Dhulia in Maharashtra with a large quantity of liquor from Ambala in Haryana. On the basis of this information the police team started investigation. During this time, the police also received information that a cement truck was being used by the accused.
The police started investigating all the cement trucks passing through there, but during this time, when the police stopped a cement bulker and examined it, some suspicious objects were seen in it. After this, the police interrogated the truck driver. And when the cement bulker was opened, about 975 cases of liquor were found in it. In which there were different brands of liquor. The police confiscated the liquor boxes.
When the police opened the liquor boxes, they found different levels in them. Besides, some levels were also removed by the accused, due to which the police arrested the truck driver and interrogated him strictly. He told that he was going from Ambala to Dhulia in Maharashtra with this truck. At present, the police have seized liquor worth more than Rs 2 crore from the arrested accused. At the same time, this entire matter is also being linked to Maharashtra elections. Due to which the police is busy investigating very closely.
Rural SP Hitika Vaskal said that Kamal Jat, an accused arrested in the entire case, is being interrogated. Whereas Kamal Jat is originally from Rajasthan. Besides, his criminal record is also being scrutinized. Where in Ambala had he brought this liquor truck and to whom was he going to give this liquor truck in Dhulia, Maharashtra.
