Talking to Mashable India, Rohit Shetty said about Tusshar's character, “It is a compulsion. I say, when it has to happen, it happens. When luck is right, everything goes right. Tushar was the third or fourth choice for that role. Three-four people had refused for that role. Hey, there is no dialogue. There are already three actors. How will I do it? He was not wrong. What script would I have gone to narrate to him?
Rohit Shetty said that the idea of casting Tusshar Kapoor was the film's writer Neeraj Vora. He said, “Neeraj asked whether he should narrate this to Tushar. I said let's try this also. Then we narrated it to Tushar. He said that you will handle it, there is no dialogue. Where have we been?
