Rae Bareli police in Uttar Pradesh has registered a case of cyber crime against a shameless constable. The police have taken this action on the complaint of the wife of the accused constable. It is alleged that the constable was sending her obscene messages on Instagram with a fake ID. When the girl threatened the accused in the message itself, he blocked the ID. After this the victim's wife complained to the police. When the cyber cell of the police traced the IP of the accused's mobile, it was revealed that the accused was none other than the victim's own husband.
After this, the police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of the victim and started investigating the matter. The matter is of June 2024 in Bhadaicha of city Kotwali area. The victim Archana Devi, who lives here, told in the complaint given to the police that she is married to constable Rakesh Kumar posted in Rae Bareli police line. Recently she had filed a case of dowry harassment against her husband. While the police was investigating this case, obscene messages started coming on his mobile from an ID named Gaurav Kumar.
According to the victim, these messages sometimes came to her personally and sometimes became public. She was troubled by the notoriety arising from this. According to the victim, she refused the accused several times to do so. Even threatened to take legal action against the accused. After this the accused threatened to kill her and then blocked the ID. Being upset, the victim had given a complaint against the accused in the cyber police station on 21 June 2024.
While investigating this complaint, the police traced the IP of the mobile phone of the accused. During this time the location of the mobile phone was found in the police line. After this, the police reached the spot and interrogated the accused. According to City Kotwal Narayan Kushwaha, a case has been registered against the accused on the basis of the victim's complaint. The police is investigating the entire matter.
