It looks as though Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left less than impressed on Saturday night.
Reality star took to the dancefloor with his professional partner Jowita Przystał to perform a Cha Cha to the song I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred.
However, as the Strictly star stepped onto the dancefloor his outfit choice had people quickly running to social media.
Pete was seen wearing tight PVC in a neon pink, a sheer shirt, sparkly sunglasses and a huge hot pink fake fur coat. People shared their thoughts on the unique outfit option, with some claiming the star was "stitched up".
One person said: "Wtf? Weird singing, tempo too slow, pink plastic jeans. What have they done to pirate Pete?"
Someone else commented: "I really loved that one but Pete’s trousers were a bit too tight for comfort #strictly."
Another viewer added: "Pete Wicks has been royally stitched up with this week's song and costume! A bit of a shame to go back to silly after his couple's choice."
"Poor Pete was stitched up completely this week but he’s got my votes," said another.
While someone else wrote: "OH PETE THE ICON YOU ARE."
When he'd finished his routine, host Tess Daley couldn't contain her laughter as she said: "Pete, Pete, Pete, you've changed!"
As his diamante pink hat fell onto the floor, he jokingly replied he had no idea what Tess was talking about.
He replied: "When people say to me that Strictly changes you, I imagine this is not what they thought I was going to end up as."
Calling his attire 'perfection' it was time to see what the judges thought of the routine, although was unable to stop giggling.
In hysterics and slightly flustered, she said: "Oh my god, Oh, let me think. You know what, calm myself down, you had some very good isolation. You had a very clean neckline. Isolation of the upper half of the body!
"Your hips were swinging left and right, I mean it was very entertaining. I don't think I'm ever going to forget this evening for as long as I live darling, well done!"
Sitting beside her, Anton Due Beke was jokingly fanning Shirley with his hands to cool her down after watching Pete's routine.
When it came to scoring, Pete and Jowita were awarded a total of 27 for their dance.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Sunday on BBC One from 7:20pm.
