Suriya-starrer Kanguva finally hits the big-screens and is been receiving mix reviews from critics and masses. Helmed by Siva the action thriller also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. As per the makers Kanguva has performed well in two days. Despite largely mix response the film has managed to collect more than Rs 50 crore worlwide.
The makers of Kanguva shared a new update on Saturday evening stating the worldwide numbers after two days of release. The caption of the post read Epic response for the EPIC #Kanguva raging across cinemas with a 2 Day gross of 89.32 crores worldwide
While the film earned Rs 29.54 crore in India it managed to register Rs 89.32 crore worldwide. Moreover the action-thriller has surpassed Suriyas previous hit Etharkkum Thunindhavan that grossed Rs 25 crore worldwide on day 2.

With day 1 collection Suriya has entered the list top 5 Kollywood openers
India Net: Rs 24 crore
India Gross: Rs 28.50 crore
Overseas: Rs 11.5 crore
Worldwide: Rs 40 crore
Well considering Kanguvas whooping budget it might be too small a milestone to celebrate.
Kanguva was released in 2D and 3D in all south Indian languages and Hindi. Mounted on an estimated budget of over Rs 350 crore the high-octane action drama is bankrolled by K E Gnanavel Raja V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati. Kanguva sees Suriya in dual roles: a warrior name Kanguva from the past and a modern-day named Francis. Bobby Deol also appears as a warrior in the past while Disha Patani plays his love interest in the present.
