Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in 2022, and the couple revealed that their love began to blossom during the filming of ' Naanum Rowdy Dhaan '. Ahead of the release of Nayanthara’s Netflix documentary, 'Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale', the makers released a new promo where Vignesh Shivan shared the technique Nayanthara uses to casually slap him.


In the clip, both Nayanthara and Vignesh were seen narrating how they fell for each other during his directorial venture 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in 2015. During the conversation, Nayanthara was seen casually slapping him on the neck and laughing mischievously. Soon, Vignesh asked her what had happened, and she said there was a mosquito behind him. Vignesh revealed, “So this is a new technique she uses to hit me. There’s no mosquito. This entire house is mosquito-proof. But she will hit me for no reason and blame it on a mosquito.”


He further added, “And I made a script out of this. Based on her new behavior, I’ve written a story. It’s fully from my heart. It’s inspired by my experience.” This made Nayanthara shy, and she tried hard to control her laughter. He then pretended that there was a mosquito on his cheek so that she could slap him.

Nayanthara also released a social media statement addressing Dhanush regarding the release of her documentary. She claimed that he did not allow her to use a small clip from 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in the documentary and demanded Rs 10 crore for using a 3-second clip. He was the producer of the movie.


'Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale' is set to premiere on Netflix on November 18.
